Thrasher

The fae could barely keep her eyes open, and once they were closed, no one could get them back open. Ezris said it might be for her powers working, but I thought it would work faster than this. By the time Ezris was done bandaging her up, not a single spot on her was healed.

Alek took charge, rallying clans together to find all the stuff we could take, and a few made caskets for the burial. He told me about the fae’s vision and how he didn’t know if it would come true.

Looking around, I saw it did.

With a heavy sigh, I ensured she was guarded before moving to my tent. I left her alone to help my men, and although I saved lives, I regretted leaving her.

Her beautiful face was swollen, one eye closing in on itself. Her tan skin had been reduced to a clammy, pale, purple mess. Blood stained the shirt that I had given her.

As soon as we got into the tent last night, her hands fiddled with her buttons. I was not letting her sleep in the shared tent drunk. No one was going to touch her.

She shrugged off her button-up, revealing a lacey bra, before working on her pants.

“Fae,” I warned with a slight growl in my tone.

“Mhm,” she vibrated, wiggling out of her clothing. “I love it when you growl, Thrash.”

My eyes dipped, but I stopped myself. I would not touch her in that state, though. I moved to my bag and pulled out a shirt before throwing it at her.

This fae had tortured me all night. Her dance enticed me more than it should have. My eyes—and way too many others—stayed glued on her. Her movement was fearless and carefree, and her laughter was more beautiful than the fiddle playing.

She sat up, grabbing my hand and retaking my attention. “Whatttt, Thrashy?”

My eyes rolled. “Don’t call me that.”

“I’m Thrashy, and I’m goi-going to be bad towards Arcadia because I secretly wa-want to fuck her,” she mocked.

My eyes widened, and I was taken aback.

She pulled me on top of her, locking her legs around my waist. “So, do it,” she whispered, looking up at me through her eyelashes. She ground herself right onto my growing cock. My lips parted, not sure what to do. I’d never seen this side of the fae, but I’d never seen her drunk before. “Take me.”

I might not have pulled back if I didn’t smell that ale on her breath. “Time for bed, fae.”

“My name is Arcadia.” She slurred, slowly pulling the shirt over her head. “I don’t”—she burped—“know why we hid these feelings from each other. You and I both know that we want each other.”

I scoffed. “Go to bed.”

“Come on! I don’t bite!” She crawled over the bed and plopped right in the center, not leaving much room for me.

My tusks dug into my lip, and I moved forward, kicking off my shoes. I didn’t take off any clothes. The lesser the clothing, the more tempted I would be.
